Fjærabygda Gardsmat requested a logo and identity that showed the happy go lucky spirit of the farm and the family running it.
Fjærabygda Gardsmat is a family farm. Laila and Goggen have been running the farm since 1997, and just recently their oldest son Kristian took over. Situated by Hardangerfjorden on the west coast of Norway, encapsuled by steep mountains, the idyllic surroundings make a perfect backdrop for their new start up; Fjærabygda Gardsmat. The brand produces homemade dairy products like milk, cream, rice porridge and waffle batter.
Eika Illustration & Design has created a brand that emphasize the homemade feeling of Fjærabygda Gardsmat. The typography is inspired by the hand lettering on traditional Norwegian rose painted wood crafts from the 1800s. Every letter is a little bit different and is customized to provide the look and feel of hand lettering from the old days: Perfect imperfection. The owners requested a logo and identity that showed the happy go lucky spirit of the farm and the family running it.
