M3 (Maridalsveien 3) is one of the last major creative hubs in the center of Oslo, and the community is being challenged by forces in the market that are showing commercial interest for the quarter.
Do the municipality want to sell the quarter to large property developers? What will this mean for tenants and cultural producers in the center of the capital?
Galleri ROM took the initiative for the M3 City Lab and invited URBa, a research-based architecture practice in Oslo, to test the basis for more inclusive urban planning. URBa invited participants from art, culture, media, industry and politics to several rounds of conversation and debate.
EIKA was invited to design the logo, signage, exhibition graphics, printed material and a graphic wall as a process tool for debate and research.
